So imagine my surprise when I go to upload the new 1.3 patch to our downloads section, and find 200+ link submissions from crappy spammers clogging up the whole mess. And, of course, there's no easy way to mass delete them all, I have to remove them one at a time... Bah. I've disabled the module for now, whenever I have the time to sort through it all I'll fix things.
So here's the direct link to the CoD4 1.3 patch, and here's the patch info. (The 1.3 patch will also include all previous fixes from previous patches.) v1.3
This patch addresses the issue reported by community
member Uzi Kidding which now catches some files bypassing the pure client
test. In addition this update will set properties so that Anti-lag is
always enabled upon map loads, an optimization for Sniper Rifle accuracy
at certain distances, as well a fix so text chat between rounds of multiplayer
will no longer cut out at the end. The 1.3 patch will also include all
previous fixes from previous patches.

This patch optimizes the Lean view offset issue,
addressing the glitch reported by several community members and documented
and sent in directly by community member GaretJax which is commonly referred
to as the ?Left / Vertical Lean? Glitch, in addition to preparing files
for compatibility with the future release of the Call of Duty 4: Modern
Warfare™ Mod Tools. This patch will update all previous versions
of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to v1.2
v1.1
Addressed the issue of Rank / Stat resets reported
by users moving from a Modded / Un-ranked server to a non Modded / Ranked
Server. This update was not intended to revert back to any previously
lost rank, but to prevent the issue from happening in the future.

Well, Call of Duty 4 is out in force, and it's the hot game for the clan If you haven't gotten it yet, what are ya waiting for???
I'm enjoying the Counter-Strike-like feel, though I do miss being a tank whore... I still can't get the hang of sniping. I just suck at it.
And BTW, if you're as confused as I was on what all the game modes are, wikipedia has a nice write-up on it.

It's been a little quiet here. Too quiet...
I know the GrC has sorta died out, but I still have hopes we can come back strong. I'm not gonna keep updating this site a whole lot though, I have enough trouble keeping my own blog updated.
However, there are at least three games floating around (two of which have demos) that may at some point become GrC LAN party staples, and are worth checking out:
So go out and gear up. There's more to come in multiplayer gaming (not including all those console wussies) so stay sharp!
